About the course.
The Pre-Service Training Course in TEFL (Teaching English as a Foreing Language) and the Cambridge TKT (Teaching Knowledge Test) allow participante to widen their carreer opportunities worldwide. The TKT certificates are valid worldwide, while the PSTC allows participants to develop their skills and practice all the theory estudiad for the TKT.
The TKT is designed and produced by University of Cambridge ESOL Examinations. It offers candidates a step in their professional development as teachers — besides other areas of interest.
You will be asked to keep a learner’s portfolios, a record of your professional development and reflections on your teaching practices, and class observations. Despite the portfolio does not form part of the assessment for TKT, keeping an updated portfolios is compulsory for the course.

TKT certificate does not refer to the candidate’s language proficiency, it focuses round the knowledge he or she has to plan and execute a lesson, assess learners, etc. However, as teachers it is vital to know and understand the CEFR.
