By the end of the unit, students will be able to critically evaluate, understand, and discuss the elements of good design and the importance it has to choose a correct design for a musical production (icons, logos, pictures, etc). They will gain insights into design choices and their implications, learn about iconic designs such as the icon of The Rolling Stones. By the end of this unit, students should have a holistic understanding of design from both a linguistic and cultural standpoint, allowing them to converse confidently on design topics.
